About the Job
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Specialist to support strategic marketing and business development initiatives across high-profile practice areas. This role will work closely with lawyers and global BD teams to drive client development, profile-raising activities and pitch opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of business development and marketing initiatives across the London office.
- Prepare and coordinate pitches, proposals, presentations and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with global BD teams on key client development and industry initiatives.
- Assist with the delivery of seminars, events and sponsorship opportunities.
- Manage legal directory and award submissions, including drafting content and coordinating referee processes.
- Produce, update and maintain marketing collateral and business development materials.
- Research clients, prospects, competitors and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Maintain deal databases and support onboarding activities for new legal hires.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' business development and marketing experience.
- Previous experience within a professional services environment, ideally legal services.
- Strong experience supporting pitches, proposals and client development activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using CRM systems and research tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
