At M&G, our purpose is to give everyone real confidence to put their money to work. With a heritage dating back more than 175 years, we have a long history of innovation in savings and investments, combining asset management and insurance expertise to offer a wide range of solutions.
Our two distinct operating segments, Asset Management and Life, work together to provide access to balanced, long-term investment and savings solutions.
Through telling it like it is, owning it now and moving it forward together with care and integrity; we are creating an exceptional place to work for exceptional talent.
We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and offer workplace adjustments to ensure you have the support you need to succeed in your role.
** Context for the role:
** Internal Communications and Engagement is a key function within our Corporate Affairs, Brand and Sustainability (CABS) team. Our role is an important one - we help M&G achieve its ambitions by making sure all of our colleagues are crystal clear on what we’re aiming to achieve together, how we want to do it, and what their part is in making it happen.

You’ll primarily work within our Life business and spend a significant amount of your time building relationships in this space, creating content and communications plans and initiatives that support the delivery of the Life strategy.

You won’t do that alone. You’ll report directly into the Internal Communications and Engagement Business Partner for Life, and work closely with the rest of our Internal Communications team, wider CABS team, and key stakeholders across Life.

Together, you’ll be part of a team helping shape how we communicate with our teams at M&G.
** Key accountabilities for this role:**
* ** Contributing to the delivery of our Internal Communications strategy** – under the direction of our Internal Communications and Engagement Business Partner, you’ll support the delivery of our functional communication plans. This will be through a variety of activity, including: finding, writing and publishing great stories, helping to organise key colleague events and getting creative with communications campaigns. All with the purpose of helping to inform colleagues on how we’re performing as a business and the progress we’re making together against our strategy.
* ** Shaping your own communications agenda** - you’ll have the opportunity to partner with key areas of the Life business and drive your own communications plans for key strategic deliverables. These plans should help engage the wider Life business with our strategy and how their roles support this.
* ** Driving colleague engagement through data** – you’ll use the data and insight available to better understand the needs of our colleagues and make sure that we’re listening and reacting to what our colleagues need - evolving a communications plan that ultimately drives engagement at all levels of our business.
* ** Building great relationships** – you’ll forge tight relationships with a number of key people across M&G – whether that’s members of our leadership team, key stakeholders within the Life business, teammates in our CABS team, or fellow business partners from our other support functions, such as the HRBPs, Finance BPs, etc who support our business.
** Some of the skills and experience you’ll need:
*** Experience working as part of an Internal Communications team, or in a role where you’ve worked as part of a team to
** deliver communications activity
*** A creative thinker who knows how to
