Job Description:
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The Global Lead of Patient Advocacy and Stakeholder Communications leads the development and execution of global patient advocacy strategies across the Neuroscience franchise. As part of an integrated corporate affairs approach, the Global Lead develops and implements stakeholder engagement, patient advocacy, communications and disease-awareness initiatives across the Neuroscience portfolio.
The individual will translate corporate affairs priorities into impactful programmes that strengthen stakeholder engagement, elevate patient and caregiver perspectives, and advance disease awareness campaigns. A focus of the role is driving initiatives that improve understanding of movement disorders and migraine as serious neurological disorders by reducing stigma and contributing to earlier diagnosis and improved patient outcomes.
Working closely with Global and Country Corporate Affairs, Value & Access, Medical Affairs, Brand Teams and Digital colleagues, the Global Lead helps ensure coordinated approaches across markets and functions while strengthening Ipsen's reputation as a trusted partner within the neuroscience community.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration and influence within a matrix environment, bringing together global and local stakeholders to deliver integrated corporate affairs priorities and measurable impact for patients and society.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership & Corporate Affairs Integration Partner with the Head of Corporate Affairs Neuroscience to develop and implement global corporate affairs priorities across the Neuroscience portfolio;
Co-create annual objectives, engagement plans and performance measures aligned with franchise and corporate affairs priorities.
Identify opportunities and monitor external trends, stakeholder expectations and evolving healthcare priorities to inform recommendations and planning.
Develop and track a set of KPIs to show business impact for corporate affairs actions
Manage allocated budget and agencies
Cross-Functional Partnership & Country Collaboration Act as a key corporate affairs partner for Global and Country cross-functional teams, fostering alignment around Neuroscience priorities;
Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Patient Affairs, Market Access, Brand Teams, Communications, Digital and Social Media colleagues to support integrated planning and execution.
Work with priority-country teams to adapt and activate global initiatives in ways that reflect local stakeholder needs and market dynamics;
Facilitate knowledge sharing, best-practice exchange and coordination across global and country teams.influence franchise/asset strategy by advising brand and asset teams on external insights and trends that inform decision-making
Build strong working relationships with key country Corporate Affairs leaders and provide ongoing strategic support to local teams;
Serve as a connector across functions and geographies to promote consistency of messaging, stakeholder engagement and programme execution.
