is looking for a Communications Manager to join our Communications and Content team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of our most impactful, largest, merchant announcements, coordinating across Commercial, Brand and Creative, and your colleagues in Communications to bring some of the most high-profile stories in payments to market.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of editorial judgment, project management, and stakeholder influence. You'll be the connector between account managers, merchants, channel owners, and the broader comms team, ensuring that announcements land with precision, that the pipeline never runs dry, and that the programme gets measurably better over time.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Announcement ownership: Lead the end-to-end coordination of hero merchant announcements, from initial brief through to publication — managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring nothing falls through the gaps.

  • Content creation: Work on PR and social copy, and supporting communications assets for merchant announcements, with a consistent standard of accuracy, clarity, and commercial relevance.

  • Stakeholder management: Build strong working relationships with account managers, regional marketing leads, and merchants directly — keeping the flow of announcements moving and anticipating blockers before they become problems.

  • Channel briefing and coordination: Brief in channel owners across PR, social, and owned media, ensuring each announcement is executed consistently and on time across every relevant touchpoint.

  • Pipeline management: Own and maintain a healthy pipeline of upcoming merchant announcements, prioritising by commercial impact and ensuring the team always has a clear view of what's coming and when.

  • Reporting and measurement: Own the reporting framework for the merchant announcements programme, tracking KPIs including PR hits, social impressions, and share of voice, and presenting performance clearly to senior stakeholders.

  • Programme development: Continuously evaluate and improve the way merchant announcements are run — from briefing templates and approval workflows to partner engagement and post-publication analysis.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience in communications, content, or PR, ideally with exposure to B2B or fintech environments, and a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder announcements.

  • AI-fluent. You use LLMs and associated tools to work faster and think harder, drafting, brainstorming, and stress-testing ideas as a matter of course.

  • Strong writing skills across formats, with the ability to move fluently between a press release and a Linked In caption without losing the thread of a story.

  • A natural coordinator who keeps projects on track without needing to be chased, and who earns trust from commercial and creative colleagues alike.

  • Data-literate and outcomes-focused, you understand what good looks like for earned media and paid social performance, and you use that to inform how you work.

  • Comfortable managing up and across: you can hold a timeline with a senior account manager, push back on a deadline that doesn't work, and represent the comms team's interests clearly.

  • Sharp attention to detail, particularly around…
