The role partners closely with Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Sales Effectiveness, Clinical Education and external clinical experts to ensure education is clinically robust, compliant, locally relevant and aligned to business priorities. It will develop a global clinical marketing education roadmap and build a strong content library to drive consistent clinical messaging across different channels and markets.
Main objectives / % of time Define and lead the global clinical marketing education strategy and roadmap for internal and external audiences, aligned to Ostomy Care priorities, campaigns and launches - 20%
Curate and scale the internal education curricula, certification framework (ASCEND) and train-the-trainer materials for sales teams, clinical educators and regional marketing teams - 25%
Develop external HCP education programmes and materials, including webinars, workshops, congress sessions, innovation sessions and clinical education assets - 20%
Partner with Medical Affairs, KOLs and cross-functional teams to translate clinical evidence into clear, compliant and compelling education content - 15%
Maintain the global clinical marketing education library and governance process to ensure content is current, consistent, approved and easy to access - 10%
Establish, track and report education KPIs, feedback and insights to improve content quality, adoption, impact and future planning - 10%
Key responsibilities and authority
Lead the development and execution of a global clinical marketing education roadmap across Ostomy Care.
Curate and scale the internal clinical sales education program (Ascend) to global internal audiences, including sales representatives, clinical educators, regional marketing teams and cross-functional launch teams.
Create external education assets and experiences for HCP audiences, ensuring content is clinically credible, engaging, practical and compliant.
Translate product strategy, clinical evidence and campaign messaging into consistent educational narratives, tools, presentations and training modules.
Implement train-the-trainer and certification approaches to improve consistency, confidence and adoption across markets.
Partner with Medical Affairs and KOLs to develop and validate clinical education content, including algorithms, protocols, webinars and conference materials.
Support global product launches by defining the clinical education plan, core training materials and education activation approach for internal and external audiences.
Own the clinical marketing education library, ensuring materials are current, approved, easy to find and adaptable for regional localisation.
Establish feedback mechanisms, education KPIs and reporting to measure reach, engagement, quality, adoption and impact.
Act as a key cross-functional partner for clinical education priorities, ensuring alignment across Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Effectiveness and Clinical Sales teams.
Key requirements
Strong experience in clinical marketing, medical education, sales enablement or related roles within medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
Proven ability to simplify complex clinical concepts into clear education materials for both medical and non-medical audiences.
Experience building global education programmes, curricula, training modules, certification approaches and/or train-the-trainer models.
Strong understanding of HCP education, clinical evidence communication and compliant promotional/educational review processes.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with confidence facilitating education for global and cross-functional audiences.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple work streams and deliver through others in a matrix environment.
Ability to work effectively with Medical Affairs, KOLs, sales teams, clinical educators, regional marketing teams and external partners.
Comfort using data, feedback and KPIs to improve education quality, adoption and impact.
Experience in adult learning and Articulate Rise Willingness to flex working hours as needed to support global teams across US, EMEA and APAC time zones.
Qualifications / Education University degree required; advanced degree in marketing, life sciences, nursing, clinical education, business or related field preferred.
5-10 years’ experience working in a global corporate, healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical environment.
Experience working in global roles and with cross-regional stakeholders.
Ability to travel approximately 20%.Principal contacts
