We are seeking an experienced Creative Design Manager to join our team, bringing together strong content creation, design and storyboarding skills to help Sagacity produce consistently high-quality, on-brand creative work across the business. This is not a junior or first design-management role – we are looking for someone who has already built a solid track record in a design or creative capacity and is ready to take ownership of Sagacity’s visual identity and creative output.

You will work closely with business leaders and colleagues across the business, taking their ideas and briefs and turning them into polished, consistent, on-brand designs, presentations and content. You will take the lead on storyboarding and content creation, making sure that everything Sagacity produces – from pitch documents to client deliverables – ensures a consistent and recognisable representation of our brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead on storyboarding for pitch documents, proposals and client presentations, structuring narratives that are clear, compelling and visually consistent
  • Act as the primary point of contact for design and creative requests across the business, working directly with business leaders and colleagues to translate their ideas and briefs into polished, on-brand outputs
  • Create high-quality marketing and sales assets using our in-house brand trained AI tooling, Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and PowerPoint, including pitch decks, case studies, event collateral and social media content
  • Own, maintain, and enhance Sagacity’s brand guidelines, templates and visual assets, ensuring a consistent look and feel across every channel and every piece of content the business produces, whilst maintaining awareness of design trends and best practice
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to plan, design and deliver content for digital channels, campaigns, industry events, webinars and round tables
  • Support the development of client case studies, testimonials and success stories, using strong visual storytelling to demonstrate proof of value
  • Review and quality-check creative work produced across the business, including by other team members and third-party suppliers, to ensure it meets Sagacity’s brand and quality standards before it goes external
  • Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to colleagues, coaching them to improve the consistency and quality of their design and content output
  • Manage multiple concurrent design requests from across the business, prioritising effectively and managing stakeholder expectations on turnaround and timescales
What we’re looking for
  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in a design, creative or content role, with a clear track record of career progression and continuity
  • Experience gained within a consultancy, professional services or agency environment, with a strong understanding of how to take the ideas of senior stakeholders and bring them to life quickly and consistently
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating range across presentations, brand collateral, storyboarding and digital/print content
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Power Point
  • Proven ability to storyboard and structure content and presentations so they are clear, engaging and visually consistent
  • A strong understanding of brand guidelines and the discipline to apply them consistently across every output
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with business leaders and colleagues and to constructively challenge where designs or ideas don’t fit brand standards
  • Highly organised, with excellent planning and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Have pride in your deliverables
  • Good at working independently and as part of a team
  • Are flexible, self-motivated and calm under pressure
  • Have a commitment to personal development and keeping up to date with design trends and tools
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Degree or professional qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline
  • Experience with video or motion graphics editing
  • Experience briefing and managing external design or creative agencies
  • Familiarity with Hub Spot or other marketing/CMS platforms
