Senior Paid Search Manager

• Lead paid search strategy and execute campaigns across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and other markets
• Manage the search budget end-to-end, tracking CAC, LTV, and retention costs to guide investment decisions
• Oversee the third-party agency partner, performance targets, SLAs, best practices, and innovation adoption
• Set keyword strategy, ad copy testing, and audience-targeting approaches
• Oversee Google App Campaigns and Apple Search Ads to drive installs and engagement
• Manage the Google account relationship, including alpha/beta opportunities, escalations, and strategic support
• Own and improve product feeds and backend processes for Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns
• Turn channel performance and data into insights for paid media roadmap and forecasting using Tableau and in-platform reporting
• Monitor Google best practices, market insights, platform changes, new features, and innovations
• Maintain practical knowledge of AI in search engine marketing, generative AI features, algorithmic updates, and LLM-driven search behaviours
• Mentor junior colleagues, share learnings, and provide constructive feedback on paid search work
• Monitor competitors and protect share of voice, especially during peak trading periods
• Collaborate with brand, international, data, and product stakeholders

• Extensive, hands‑on experience managing Google Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns at scale
• Experience with Microsoft Advertising or App Campaigns is a bonus
• Comfortable working with analytics tools, conversion tracking, and Google Merchant Center
• Confidence navigating privacy- and consent-driven changes to measurement
• Data‑driven decision‑making and deriving performance insights
• Comfortable using in‑platform tools and Tableau
• Experience analyzing performance across a custom‑built, proprietary e‑commerce stack (non‑Shopify)
• Proven track record managing third‑party agencies
• Proactive, hands‑on approach and willingness to take initiative
• Structured and organized approach to planning, prioritization, and delivery
• Curiosity and adaptability with new technology, testing, learning, and process optimization

Demonstrates extensive experience in managing Google Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns, with a strong focus on data‑driven decision‑making and performance insights. Proficient in collaborating with cross‑functional teams and mentoring junior colleagues to enhance paid search strategies.
