Week commencing 19th October 2026 The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships. We plan to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health.
These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won't be solved by science alone. We are looking for a Corporate Content Producer to join our Content team at Wellcome Trust.
You will work within the Communications function, part of Wellcome's Corporate Affairs directorate, reporting to the Content Lead. You will work closely with colleagues in the Content Team and more broadly with Wellcome Trust's communications teams and Wellcome's executive committee and wider leadership group.
What will I be doing?You will work closely with colleagues across brand and corporate communications and content to deliver a coherent, accessible and engaging corporate content programme across Wellcome’s digital channels which translates complex information into clear, compelling audience-focused content. You will create and edit high‑quality digital content that strengthens understanding of Wellcome’s mission, strategy and organisational activity, with a focus on showcasing the leadership provided by Wellcome’s Executive Committee and Chair.
Asa Corporate Content Producer, you will:
- Produce clear, accurate and engaging digital content that supports corporate communications priorities, including organisational updates, strategic explainers, leadership messages and corporate storytelling.
- Translate complex scientific, policy or organisational information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Work with colleagues across Wellcome to identify opportunities for new corporate content that improves understanding of Wellcome’s mission and strategic direction.
- Build strong relationships with Wellcome's senior Executive Committee and their support teams in order to source, develop and create high-quality content packages reflecting Wellcome's mission.
- Ensure all content reflects Wellcome's tone of voice, brand guidelines and commitment to inclusive, anti‑racist and anti‑ableist communication.
- Use outputs from across the organisation including reports, opinion pieces, team pages, grant schemes and policies to create new, shareable content that improves findability and usefulness.
- Plan, draft, edit and publish content across Wellcome's digital channels with a focus on the website, and the social media profiles of Executive Committee members.
- Work closely with the Digital Channels Manager and Corporate Communications Manager to devise a quarterly content plan that is flexible, responsive and cross‑channel for Wellcome's corporate content.
- Commission, produce and edit video and images (photography, infographics and illustrations) in line with brand guidelines, working with external agencies and internal teams, support community management and social media monitoring, ensuring timely, accurate and appropriate responses.
- Maintain efficient workflows and contribute to the content calendar to ensure timely publication.
- Ensure all content is optimised for accessibility, SEO, AEO and platform best practice.
- Use audience insight, analytics and search data to shape content decisions and improve the effectiveness and findability of corporate content.
