You will also have supported or line managed junior colleagues and shown that you can bring a team with you.

You will:

  • Demonstrate you can be a strategic thinker
  • Be capable of implementing campaign strategies with the help and direction of your senior manager
  • Be well connected across travel, destination and consumer media, with strong contacts and a track record of delivering editorial results in print, broadcast, digital and creator channels
  • Show problem solving abilities
  • Be unafraid to get on the phone to media and stakeholders, brand partners and industry bodies
  • Have a strong understanding and background in delivering digitally led campaigns
  • Be comfortable using responsible AI to improve efficiency, super-power your delivery and imagine new approaches to client campaigns
  • Be confident setting KPIs and reporting against them, including for publicly funded clients who need to evidence value for money and visitor impact
  • Be passionate about delivering the best possible results for your clients
  • Provide on the ground, organised and proactive pre and post event support on client events
  • Distribute approved content to targeted journalists, creators and trade media
  • You will produce clear, concise, engaging and professional written work
  • Conduct client and competitor research, and use audience insight and data to sharpen targeting
  • Collaborate with our AI prompt engineers, insight analysts, film producers, designers and strategists
  • Help to deliver new business presentation documents and join new business pitches
  • Work alongside colleagues in media planning and buying, creative, design and digital to deliver genuinely integrated campaigns

You have:

  • Two to four years' agency or in-house experience in travel, tourism, destination or consumer PR
  • Strong social media skills and a genuine interest in social & popular trends
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge of digital and social media channels and how to deliver through these
  • Ready to work with our AI team to develop new skills and work at the forefront of AI in communications
  • Enthusiastic with a proactive, can do attitude
  • A genuine interest in travel, tourism and the visitor economy, and in the places and experiences our clients represent
  • A good team player
  • A second language is a bonus, particularly Spanish, Italian or Welsh, and a willingness to travel in the UK and abroad for client work

Proven B2B PR experience is essential, ideally within the travel and destination sector, with experience delivering campaigns that engage trade, industry and stakeholder audience
