Marketing & Business Development Manager – Commodities (Fixed-Term Contract)

Up to £70,000 pro-rata

London (EC2N) / Hybrid

Our client is a leading international law firm seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join its Commodities team on a maternity cover contract until July 2027.

Please note:

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days in the London office and is offered on a fixed-term basis until July 2027.

This is a business development-focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders and fee earners to develop client relationships, identify new opportunities and deliver the wider BD strategy.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in business development and marketing, including client development, pitches and RFPs, market research, campaigns and events. Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior fee earners are essential, alongside excellent communication, organisation and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially minded and able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to deadlines. Previous law firm experience is highly desirable, with an understanding of the Commodities sector being advantageous.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, are also required, with experience using a CRM system beneficial.
