Job Description

We're looking for an AVP of Marketing to help shape the next phase of Underwrite Me's growth.
We're investing in our marketing capability as we expand our portfolio and bring new propositions to market. We're looking for a leader who can strengthen how customer, commercial and market insight shape growth decisions across the business.
This is a global role, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You'll lead Product Marketing, Brand and Customer Marketing across our Decision Platform and Protection Platform businesses, helping us identify growth opportunities, bring new propositions to market and strengthen how we communicate value to customers.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Commercial and Marketing. You'll play an active role in the direction of both our Decision Platform and Protection Platform businesses as part of their Leadership Teams, helping shape strategy, identify growth opportunities and influence key business decisions.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll lead a small team while remaining actively involved in strategy, positioning, launches, customer insight and key business decisions.
What you’ll do

• Define the marketing strategy across Product Marketing, Brand and Customer Marketing, owning marketing investment and budget decisions to ensure resources are focused on opportunities with the greatest commercial impact.

• Shape positioning, messaging and proposition strategy across the Underwrite Me portfolio, helping customers understand our value and commercial teams communicate it effectively.

• Lead go-to-market strategy for new products, capabilities and strategic initiatives, improving the effectiveness of launches and market adoption.

• Bring customer, market and competitive insight into product, commercial and business decision-making, ensuring priorities are informed by evidence rather than assumption.

• Lead pricing and packaging strategy across the Underwrite Me portfolio, balancing customer value, market competitiveness and commercial performance to support sustainable growth.

• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends and changing customer needs, helping shape growth strategy, proposition development and investment decisions.

• Strengthen the Underwrite Me brand, ensuring our market presence, narrative and communications reflect the value we deliver to customers and partners.

• Improve how customer outcomes, success stories and market evidence are captured and used to support growth, adoption and commercial conversations.

• Play an active role on the Decision Platform and Protection Platform Leadership Teams, aligning priorities, challenging assumptions, improving cross-functional execution and helping drive business performance and growth.

• Establish clear measures of success for marketing activities and use insight and performance data to continuously improve effectiveness and impact.

• Represent the voice of the customer and market in senior leadership discussions, influencing business strategy and helping the organisation make better decisions.

• Lead, develop and grow a high-performing marketing team, creating clarity, accountability and strong cross-functional collaboration.

• Strengthen the positioning, narrative and market presence of both the Decision Platform and the Protection Platform.

• Improve how customer and market insight informs product, commercial and strategic decision-making.
