THE ROLE
What you'll be doing
- Secure high-level interviews, meetings, and round tables with politicians, regulators, and key stakeholders across Westminster and devolved governments
- Build strong relationships with MPs, local authority leaders, and industry bodies
- Support the development and delivery of the overarching public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy
- Prepare high-quality briefing papers and meeting materials for the senior leadership team
- Advise internal senior stakeholders and subject matter experts on key public affairs matters
- Monitor housing policy changes and translate complex regulations into clear communications
- Navigate critical industry topics including Building Safety, Later Living, Energy Reform, and Common hold
- Act as a central bridge between corporate communications, political correspondence, and business teams.
What we’re looking for
- Proven UK public affairs or corporate communications experience gained within an agency, in‑house, or political environment
- Strong understanding of or genuine interest in housing policy, property management, and regulatory developments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences
- Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or politically charged topics within regulated sectors
- A proactive, autonomous approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and advise at the executive level.
