The roleMewburn Ellis is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join our collaborative Marketing & Business Development team in the London office.
This role has a clear two-part focus. First, the successful candidate will provide dedicated marketing and business development support to our Life Sciences practice group, working closely with attorneys and partners in one of the firm's most strategically important areas. Secondly, they will take responsibility for a defined set of firmwide activities, including legal directories, CRM, research and campaign support.
The successful candidate will work as part of a highly collaborative team, with support from senior colleagues, while taking ownership of specific projects and responsibilities.
The role will have a range of responsibilities which will include:
Support the delivery of business development plans for the Life Sciences practice group, which will include, campaign support, pitches, client plans, events, webinars, conferences and client facing activity for the Life Science market.
Using AI and other digital tools appropriately to support research, first drafts, idea generation and synthesis, applying sound judgement and checking outputs carefully before they are shared.
Assist with content creation including website updates, social media posts, articles, presentations and marketing materials.
Coordinate submissions for legal directories and industry awards, working with partners and senior M&BD colleagues, managing deadlines, submissions, referee programmes and supporting information with strong attention to detail.
Support the team in using CRM, reporting tools and AI-enabled functionality in a confident, responsible and commercially useful way.
Undertake client, market and sector research to support business development activity across the firm, analysing relevant data and trends to inform campaigns, client conversations and planning.
This is a hybrid role and will be based from our London office on 50/50 basis.
