We are seeking an accomplished Director of Marketing Communications to lead the strategic storytelling, reputation management and brand positioning of this iconic destination. This is an opportunity to shape how one of Marriott International's flagship properties is presented to guests, media, stakeholders and global audiences.

About the Role As Director of Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications, public relations and marketing strategy that drives awareness, enhances reputation and supports commercial performance across all areas of the hotel.

Working closely with the Executive Committee, commercial leadership teams and Marriott's regional and corporate partners, you will ensure that every communication reflects the distinctive voice of JW Marriott Grosvenor House. From media relations and content creation to digital presence, social engagement and crisis communications, you will oversee a broad and influential portfolio that directly contributes to revenue growth and brand equity.

This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, guiding a high-performing team while identifying innovative opportunities to elevate the hotel's profile within the luxury travel, dining and events sectors.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications and public relations strategy aligned with business objectives and revenue goals

Strengthen brand awareness and market positioning through impactful media relations, storytelling and communications initiatives

Lead all public relations activity, including press engagement, journalist visits, media partnerships, familiarisation trips and industry events

Oversee digital communications, website content, social media platforms and online reputation to maximise audience engagement and commercial impact

Partner with Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage and Events teams to support demand generation across all business segments

Ensure all communications, collateral, photography, signage and guest-facing content consistently reflect JW Marriott brand standards

Build trusted relationships with media, influencers, community partners, owners and key internal stakeholders

Provide strategic counsel and leadership during sensitive issues or crisis communications, protecting and strengthening the hotel's reputation

The Ideal Candidate You are an experienced marketing and communications leader with a passion for luxury hospitality and a strong understanding of how powerful storytelling drives commercial success.

You will bring significant experience in public relations, communications or luxury hospitality marketing, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Commercially minded and highly influential, you have the ability to balance creativity with performance, using insight and market understanding to deliver measurable results. Experience managing media relationships, digital channels, high-profile events and stakeholder engagement is essential.
