Our client is seeking a strategic and creative Trade Marketing Specialist to join their team in East London , focusing on the FMCG sector . This role is crucial for developing and executing in-store marketing strategies that drive brand visibility and sales at the point of purchase. You will work closely with sales, brand management, and retail partners to create impactful promotional campaigns, merchandising programs, and in-store experiences.
This hybrid position involves both remote strategic planning and on-site client engagement, ensuring our client's brands stand out in a competitive retail landscape and achieve their commercial objectives.
- Develop and implement effective trade marketing strategies and promotional plans for FMCG products in collaboration with sales and brand teams.
- Analyze retail sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for in-store brand growth and category performance.
- Create compelling point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and promotional collateral for retail partners.
- Manage relationships with retailers to execute in-store campaigns, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all trade marketing activities.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing programs, providing insights for future optimization.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade marketing , brand management, or sales support, preferable within the FMCG industry .
- Strong understanding of retail environments and the dynamics of the FMCG market.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful in-store promotions and merchandising strategies.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with sales or trade marketing software is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
