Content Creator & Social Media Manager

At Bubala, our values, Expression, Resilience, Integrity, and Compassion, are at the heart of everything we do. Recognised as one of CODE’s Happiest Places to Work in 2024, proudly taking the number one spot in 2025, and making the list again in 2026, we’re committed to creating a workplace that prioritises balance, growth, and genuine team happiness.

Bubala has grown to four buzzing restaurants across London, in Spitalfields, Soho, King’s Cross and now Covent Garden, opening this October. It’s a busy, exciting time to join the team, with plenty of new stories to tell.

Our menu celebrates the bold, complex flavours of the Middle East with an entirely vegetarian focus (we’re not into substitutes here). Vegetable led, made for sharing and served in a lively, welcoming room. If you love eating out and know exactly how to make people hungry through a screen, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to lead our organic social and in-house content. Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you’ll shape what we post and why, shoot and edit much of it yourself, and run our Instagram and Tik Tok as the main window into our restaurants.

You’ll build series and formats that give people a reason to keep watching, shoot during service when the restaurants are at their best, and work with our chefs and teams at every site to capture new dishes and the people behind them. You’ll also art direct our bigger shoots, brief photographers and creators, and turn our best organic content into paid social.

This role suits an experienced creator with strong taste, a real love of food, and the restraint to know when something isn’t right for us.

Two years + creating content and running social channels, in-house or agency side, ideally in food, hospitality, drinks or lifestyle

A portfolio of content you’ve shot, edited and published, with results to back it up

Proven experience growing an Instagram account

Confident shooting on camera and phone, and editing in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Cap Cut, Lightroom or similar

Organised, self-motivated and happy to work some evenings and weekends

Salary: £36k to £40k depending on experience, reviewed after 12 months

Location: Across our sites in Spitalfields, Soho, King’s Cross and Covent Garden
