Brand Manager - FMCG

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially minded and highly energetic Brand Manager who is passionate about building brands, driving innovation and making things happen. This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain an existing brand. We need someone who can challenge the status quo, bring fresh ideas, develop compelling marketing strategies and turn opportunities into commercial success.

The Role Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the brand strategy, working across the full marketing mix with a particular focus on brand communications, commercial growth and new product development (NPD).You will be responsible for translating consumer insights into exciting brand initiatives, developing innovative campaigns and helping drive the continued growth of an already successful portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute ambitious brand and marketing plans to drive growth, market share and brand awareness

Lead exciting brand communications campaigns across multiple channels, working with external agencies and internal stakeholders

Drive NPD and innovation projects from initial concept through to successful launch

Identify new category opportunities, emerging consumer trends and commercial growth potential

Analyse market performance, consumer insights and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions

Work closely with commercial and sales teams to develop compelling customer presentations and support key retailer relationships

Support the development and launch of new products and brand extension

Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring strong commercial returns

Experience:

We are looking for a high-energy, ambitious and commercially sharp brand professional who combines creativity with strong analytical skills.

Proven brand management experience within a branded FMCG environment

Strong experience in brand communications and NPD/innovation in FMCG, QSR or Restaurants Understanding of UK grocery retail and the wider FMCG landscapeA commercial, numbers driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action

Experience developing and delivering marketing plans with measurable results

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and engage stakeholders at all levelsA resilient, adaptable personality who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environmentA genuine passion for food, consumer behaviour and building successful brands

The ability to take ownership, work independently and deliver results without constant direction
