The RoleWe're looking for a Executive Director, New Business to join Omnicom Media UK and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of growth across our agency brands.
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role sits within our New Business team and is responsible for leading high-profile net-new and retention opportunities from qualification through to conversion. You'll work across all of Omnicom Media's agencies and specialist capabilities to develop winning strategies, shape compelling narratives, build commercial responses and orchestrate the teams that bring them to life.
Alongside leading major opportunities, you'll act as the dedicated Growth partner for our agencies, helping shape agency growth plans, strengthen market positioning, develop prospecting strategies and elevate pitch readiness. You'll also lead and develop a small team, while contributing to the ongoing evolution of Omnicom Media's Growth capability.
This is a unique opportunity to join a newly centralised Growth function at a pivotal moment in its development and help define what best-in-class growth looks like across one of the world's leading media groups.
What You'll Do- Lead major new business and retention pitches from qualification through to outcome
- Shape pitch strategy, narratives, win themes and commercial responses
- Interpret complex client briefs and translate them into compelling strategic approaches
- Partner with agency leadership to develop growth strategies and pursuit plans
- Coach and develop team members within a high-performing Growth environment
- Media agency experience in New Business / Growth
- A strong track record leading successful pitch activity
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong presentation, storytelling and communication skills
- Energy, curiosity and a winning mindset
