Overview
Prospectus are excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for an Individual Giving Manager to join their team. The organisation is the UK’s LGBT+ anti‑abuse charity. Founded in 1982, Galop has been championing the safety of the LGBT+ community for over 40 years. The charity works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year.
They run four national support helplines: for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so‑called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for victims who need longer‑term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.
Summary
This role is offered on a full‑time permanent contract basis, paying a salary between £41,534 to £44,749 (including Inner London Weighting of £4,009) per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.
Responsibilities- Develop and secure a diverse range of funding streams to deliver the charity’s ambitious fundraising growth plans over the next three years.
- Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to grow income from individuals, ensuring the long‑term stability of the charity and supporting the delivery of services to as many victims and survivors of abuse as possible.
- Design and implement engaging propositions and supporter journeys that encourage ongoing engagement and growth in giving.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and managing individual giving strategies with successful growth in income.
- Experience creating engaging propositions and implementing and managing supporter journeys.
- Experience fundraising within victim‑support, VAWG, or LGBT+ causes.
