Youth-Led Digital Campaigns Internship

The internship is a twelve-month paid role beginning in March 2026.

The Jack Petchey Internship development programme is designed for young people who are leaving further or higher education and starting out in the youth/charity sector – or looking to transfer into, or take their next career step in, the youth/charity sector.

The funding supports young people in London and Essex. We expect applicants to have a strong connection with London and ideally be currently living in or close to Croydon, where our work is located.

We are looking for someone creative, confident and passionate about empowering young people. You will play a hands‑on role in both the delivery and development of digital and media‑based opportunities for young people, while helping to shape and deliver Reaching Higher
's youth‑led digital fundraising and media strategy.

• Develop and implement digital and media campaigns that engage young people
• Collaborate with community partners and youth organisations across London and Essex
• Participate in training, mentoring and networking opportunities with other interns
• Contribute to the planning and execution of fundraising and media events

• Some experience in the youth work sector (voluntary or paid experience is acceptable)
• Strong understanding of Reaching Higher's values and culture
• Desire to contribute to empowering young people to become leaders of their own lives
• Creative mindset, confidence and passion for digital communication
• Current residence or close proximity to Croydon, London
