Charity / Non-Profit Children: 23 young people About the role We are delighted to be recruiting a Registered Manager for a small, welcoming childrens home in Bargoed , supporting 23 young people in a stable, nurturing environment. This service is run by a charity / non-profit organisation , meaning the focus is firmly on quality care, relationships, and long-term outcomes , rather than occupancy or profit.

As Registered Manager, you will have the time and space to lead with purpose, build a strong staff team, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people. Key responsibilities Overall management of the childrens home in line with Ofsted regulations Creating a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance Building positive relationships with professionals, families, and external agencies Additional opportunity For the right candidate, there is the option to take on a dual Responsible Individual (RI) role , offering broader influence and professional development.
