Hybrid – LCC Elephant and Castle/Home

Play a key role shaping how London College of Communication connects with its surrounding communities.

As London College of Communication prepares to move into its new building within the Elephant and Castle regeneration area, we are seeking an experienced partnerships professional to help ensure the College becomes an inclusive, creative and meaningful destination for local people.

Working with community groups, local authorities, cultural organisations, businesses and development partners, you will lead place-based partnerships and programmes that generate lasting social, cultural and economic value and strengthen the College’s reputation for innovation and collaboration in creative communication.

You will help activate the College’s new public-facing spaces, develop community‑led initiatives, secure external funding and strengthen LCC’s role as a creative anchor institution within South London. To facilitate this, you will need to build relationships with Southwark Council, community groups, charities, cultural organisations, local businesses, property developers and other partners.

This is a rare opportunity to influence a major moment in LCC’s development and help create a lasting connection between the College, its new home and the communities around it.

About you

You will bring significant experience of developing and funding community, cultural, regeneration or placemaking partnerships. A confident relationship‑builder and compelling communicator, you will be comfortable working across complex organisations, bringing different partners together and turning ambitious ideas into well‑managed, measurable programmes.

If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, a successful track record of securing major funding and developing strategic partnerships to shaping consultancy, enterprise and community focused initiatives, this is great opportunity for you to play a central role in connecting creative practice with community challenges and new opportunities.
