Volunteer Coordinator
Barking, Greater London (On-site) | Dagenham, Greater London | £17,107.80 - £19,197.60 per year | Part-time | Permanent | Youth and Children
Responsibilities- Support the growth and development of our volunteer community
- Build strong relationships with local people and service professionals to ensure the project runs smoothly
- Provide mentoring and guidance to volunteers, offering the personal support they need to succeed
- Passionate about volunteering
- Strong organisational skills to set clear objectives and offer approachable, face‑to‑face supervision and guidance to the volunteer team
- Some experience of volunteering yourself
- Complete an Enchanted DBS for working with vulnerable children
- Be confident to travel around Barking and Dagenham
- Have a sense of humour, be open to new ideas and challenges
Starting salaries are appointed between the minimum and mid‑point of the pay band, with annual pay steps based on performance and alignment to Barnardo's values.
