Participatory Democracy Coordinator
£42,771 - £45,750 | Fixed Term 18 months
Newham Council is committed to putting residents at the heart of shaping their communities. We are seeking a Participatory Democracy Coordinator to support the delivery of the People Powered Places programme through to summer 2027 and help strengthen resident engagement across the borough through the Community Neighbourhood model. The role will coordinate engagement projects, consultations, events and resident‑led initiatives, while supporting services across the Council to involve residents in local priorities and decision‑making.
Working closely with Community Neighbourhood Teams, residents and partner organisations, you will help deliver meaningful opportunities for participation, community activation and engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive professional who is passionate about working with communities and delivering high‑quality engagement activity.
