The postholder will also be required to attend regular events in Parliament and external face-to-face meetings to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
Our London office is based in The Foundry, a vibrant and eco-conscious workspace near Vauxhall and Oval stations. You’ll be based in a dynamic, purpose‑driven workspace designed to support collaboration and innovation. The Foundry offers excellent on‑site facilities, including a vegan café and a programme of monthly events, workshops, and networking opportunities with other charities and NGOs based in the building.
With its welcoming, inclusive environment, The Foundry is a place where people come together to work, connect, and drive meaningful change every day.
About the Role
As Senior Campaigns and Public Affairs Officer, you'll play a leading role in driving Concern Worldwide (UK)'s public campaigning and parliamentary engagement, helping to influence policy and inspire action on some of the world's most pressing humanitarian challenges. Working closely with colleagues across communications, fundraising and international advocacy, you'll create compelling campaign content, coordinate stakeholder engagement, represent Concern within influential coalitions and networks, and ensure our campaigns deliver measurable impact.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to help shape policy, mobilise supporters and make a real difference to the lives of people living in extreme poverty.
About You
You're a strategic and passionate campaigner who knows how to inspire people to take action and influence decision-makers to create lasting change. An excellent communicator and relationship builder, you have experience delivering impactful public campaigns, engaging parliamentarians and stakeholders, and working collaboratively across teams and coalitions to achieve shared goals. You're organised, proactive and adaptable, with strong project management skills and the confidence to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Driven by a commitment to tackling global inequality, you share Concern Worldwide's values and are motivated by the opportunity to use your skills to help address hunger, climate change and conflict.
