Coordinate access and inclusion across the London Short Film Festival, supporting accessible programming, audiences, filmmakers, venues, volunteers and partners. Help deliver the festival’s Access Hub and embed inclusive practice across the organisation.

The Access Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of LSFF's 2027 access project, working across programming, production, communications, audience engagement and workforce development to improve accessibility and embed inclusive practice across the festival.

The role will support the Festival Producer in delivering the festival's Access Hub, ensuring it provides a welcoming and well-supported environment for audiences, filmmakers, volunteers and partners. The Access Coordinator will be the main point of contact for access requirements, providing clear information about access provision and coordinating support across festival activity.

The role will involve working closely with festival venues to gather accessibility information and coordinate access arrangements, as well as liaising with disability-led organisations, community groups, access partners and outreach networks to support audience engagement and participation.

The postholder will work with the Marketing Lead to ensure accessibility is reflected across festival communications, including website content, social media, newsletters, trailers, signage and access guides. They will also support volunteer recruitment, access training and workforce development for staff and volunteers.

The Access Coordinator will coordinate relationships with external consultants, access providers and partners; gather and analyse audience feedback and participation data; contribute to evaluation and funder reporting; and provide recommendations to inform future access planning and organisational development.

The role is fixed-term from October 2026 to February 2027 and is primarily remote within the UK, with attendance required in London during the festival (22-31 January 2027) and for key meetings and events.

Experience delivering accessibility, inclusion or audience engagement projects in the arts, cultural or creative sectors.

Knowledge of inclusive practice and access requirements for public events and programmes.

Experience coordinating accessible events and working with multiple stakeholders and partners.

Experience working with disability-led organisations, community groups or access partners.

Strong communication, administration and project management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience gathering and reporting audience feedback and evaluation data.

Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Coordinate access and inclusion across the festival.

Support delivery of the Access Hub and act as the main contact for access requirements.

Coordinate access provision including captioning, BSL, audio description and relaxed screenings.

Liaise with venues to coordinate accessibility arrangements.

Work with disability-led organisations, community groups and access partners.

Support accessible festival communications and access information.

Coordinate external access providers and consultants.

Gather audience feedback and access data.

Contribute to evaluation, reporting and future access planning.

Each January, LSFF hosts ten days of short films, live events, Q&As and multidisciplinary curation. We present between 250-500 British and international films each edition, collaboratively programmed down from 5000+ open submissions, alongside Special Events and an industry offering of workshops, panels and discussion for filmmakers and workers.
