Outside Edge Theatre Company is looking for a Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator is a newly created position that will play a crucial role in supporting Outside Edge’s fundraising activities and income diversification plans. Working closely with the CEO, Trustees and external consultants, the role has a particular focus on cultivating and stewarding donors, trust and foundation fundraising and communications.

We welcome applications from candidates that are interested in taking their first steps to develop a career in fundraising. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a creative and ambitious organisation which is focused on your development. An external fundraising consultant will provide strategic oversight across income streams, and help the Development Coordinator to gain the skills required to successfully implement fundraising activities in areas where they may have less experience.

The Development Coordinator will be offered training opportunities and supported to flourish in this new role by our Development Subcommittee, which is made up of expert fundraisers from across the arts and social welfare sectors.

The Development Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the effective day-to-day delivery of fundraising activity, from supporter communications and database management to donor stewardship coordination. They will lead on writing small to mid-scale grant applications to trusts and foundations, contribute to larger funding bids, and support evaluation and reporting.
