We have a very exciting opportunity for a Philanthropy Manager to join the amazing team at Pancreatic Cancer UK, a charity with an ambitious vision to double survival rates for pancreatic cancer and that is committed to transforming outcomes through world‑class research, support services and campaigning.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced major donor fundraiser to play a key role in growing philanthropic income and supporter engagement. Working closely with the Philanthropy Lead, you will manage a portfolio of major donors and high‑value supporters, develop a strong pipeline of new prospects, secure significant gifts, and provide exceptional stewardship to help supporters maximise their impact. You will also lead the development of a mid‑value programme and line‑manage the Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer, supporting their ongoing development and success.
This is a fantastic development opportunity for a senior fundraiser keen to broaden their experience. With responsibility for line management, pipeline strategy and donor stewardship, you'll be supported to develop your leadership skills while making a significant contribution to Pancreatic Cancer UK's ambitious goals.
To be successful as the Philanthropy Manager, you will need:
- Experience securing philanthropic or major donor gifts and achieving income targets.
- A successful track record of managing relationships with high‑value supporters and delivering excellent donor stewardship.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
