Location: Greater London

St Barnabas is a warm and welcoming parish in the liberal Anglo-Catholic tradition. We are an inclusive, friendly and faithful congregation who care deeply about our church and our community.

We wish to appoint a new vicar who can guide us through the next stage of our journey by inspiring the congregation in our mission to Mitcham. We are looking for someone with:

  • a clear vision for growth
    , particularly for reaching younger generations;
  • a gift for preaching
    , who will challenge us in how we live day-to-day;
  • a warm, pastoral presence
    , available to the congregation and community and offering care to all ages;
  • a plan to enable children’s, youth and families ministry
    ;
  • the skills to strengthen links with the community
    ;
  • good organisational and leadership experience
    , who can lead the church in a stable and sustainable direction.
