Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a Supporter Relations Executive to join our supporter relations team. You will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional supporter experience at the highest standards.

Salary

The salary this position is £33,500 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of 2 days per week in the office.

In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for supporters, providing information, advice and support to maximise income in the most efficient way.
  • To communicate with supports in a prompt, helpful and professional manner via telephone, post and email – being a passionate ambassador for GOSH Charity.
  • To take donations and registrations and thanking donations in accordance with the supporter relations strategy and donor journeys.
  • To receive and respond to complaints about the Charity’s fundraising activity, liaising with colleagues and agencies to reach a satisfactory resolution for the supporter wherever possible.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Previous experience working with the public to inspire their support.
  • Ability to provide an exceptional supporter experience for fundraisers and donors.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with databases, with attention to detail and good data management.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • A passion for working in public fundraising and delivering engaging and inspiring supporter experience.

Previous experience in the charity sector is not essential for this position, but is highly desirable.

DBS - note a Basic DBS check is required for this role.
