Full-time Permanent Associate

Description

Are you socially minded, good with people and ready to make the world a better place? Our teams of private site fundraisers are speaking with people in shopping centres, supermarkets and train stations to engage them with supporting well-loved charities working around the world: helping charities to bring in new income and helping members of the public to help causes close to their heart.

We are looking for private site fundraisers in South-East London and throughout Kent to join our team on a full time basis. In return, you'll receive a competitive basic salary of £16.59 (including rolled-up holiday pay) per hour.

Benefits
  • a great bonus structure that rewards open, honest and respectful fundraising
  • a chance to meet new and interesting people who are committed to some of the best-loved charities in the UK
  • a generous bonus scheme
  • a company pension scheme
  • fortnightly payment
  • fast starts for the right candidates

You will be working in train stations, shopping centres and supermarkets across South-East London and Kent to increase awareness of charities' brands and inspire people you meet to support their work. To be successful in the role, we expect you to have:

  • Strong people skills – able to communicate with supporters and colleagues with confidence and fluency
  • Strong teamwork and good interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate personably and effectively, with empathy to a diverse range of individuals
  • Excellent relationship management skills

Sites generally change weekly, and the role requires travel to all fundraising sites in the region. Fundraising shifts last 6 hours with a 30 minute lunch break, and our full-time staff work five days a week worked flexibly from Monday-Sunday. We offer payment of £16.59 per hour worked (including rolled-up holiday pay covering 28 days each year).
