Team Vicar “outreach specialist” for St Martin’s, Morden
2027 brings the 70th year of the church of St Martin’s in Morden. It is part of a partnership of churches that has been making Jesus Christ known for over 1000 years, but we need help: a new dynamic minister who can set St Martin’s off on the next 70 years, and work with the existing team to shape a new vision for making and growing disciples of Jesus across the Parish: “Helping Morden to know Jesus”.
St Martin’s is a committed congregation with good community links, thriving toddler groups, extensive school engagement, and a growing number of new attenders, which needs vision and help to be revitalised and grow beyond its 70th birthday.
We are looking for someone who:
- Loves Jesus and loves people
- Is a gifted Bible preacher and pastor
- Has proven evangelistic, pioneering and training gifts
- Can equip lay leaders
- Can work joyfully in a united evangelical team
- Is in agreement with the Jerusalem Declaration

To be appointed to an incumbent status post in the Diocese of Southwark, a priest must have served a title post in an Anglican church in the British Isles.
