Partnerships and Events Manager

Charity People are delighted to be working in partnership with the fantastic Harlequins Foundation as they look to appoint a brilliant Partnership and Events Manager to lead and grow a key area of income generation across corporate partnerships, fundraising events and community fundraising.

• Salary £35,000 per annum

The Harlequins Foundation is the charitable arm of Harlequins Rugby Club. Working across London and the South East, the Foundation uses the power of sport to support young people and communities to thrive.

The Foundation supports thousands of individuals each year, helping to improve wellbeing, develop essential life skills and create opportunities for people who may otherwise be excluded from sport and education.

They have ambitious plans for growth and are now seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded fundraiser to help strengthen and diversify income generation through partnerships and events.

Reporting to the Head of Programmes, Events and Partnerships, this is a diverse and rewarding role where you will lead an integrated programme of corporate partnerships, fundraising events and community fundraising activity.

You’ll be responsible for developing a pipeline of corporate supporters, creating compelling partnership opportunities and stewarding relationships that deliver long-term value for both partners and the Foundation.

Alongside this, you’ll oversee the delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events including the Rival Ride, Touch Tournament, Foundation Dinner and matchday fundraising activity, ensuring every event delivers exceptional supporter experiences and maximises income.

• Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of fundraising events and community fundraising activity.
• Develop and grow a pipeline of corporate partnership prospects aligned to the Foundation’s mission and programmes.
• Manage and steward a portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring excellent relationship management and impact reporting.
• Develop new opportunities around staff engagement, volunteering, payroll giving and sponsorship.
• Identify opportunities to integrate partnerships, events and community fundraising activities.
• Lead and develop two members of the fundraising team.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic relationship-builder who combines strong partnership development skills with event management experience.
