Lead Nurse (Registered Nurse) 2223 per hour 36 Hours Day Shifts
This nursing home provides residential nursing dementia mental health and palliative care for adults within a well‑established nursing home rated Good by the CQC. As the Lead Nurse you will have the day‑to‑day responsibility for a designated unit combining hands‑on clinical practice with leadership of the nursing and care team.

- Applicants must be a registered nurse confident overseeing clinical standards and staff practice.
- This position is not suitable for newly qualified nurses.
- This role does not offer Tier 2 sponsorship.
- Pay rate: 2223 per hour
- Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts)
- Shift pattern: Day shifts
- Sector: Nursing dementia mental health and palliative care
- CQC rating: Good
- Clear unit‑level leadership with defined clinical and operational responsibility
- Balance between hands‑on nursing and leadership oversight
- Established governance processes and electronic care planning systems
- Stable service with consistent occupancy and a broad clinical mix

- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Experience in a senior nurse or unit lead role within a nursing home
- Strong clinical knowledge of long‑term and complex conditions
- Confidence with safeguarding CQC standards and clinical audits
- Ability to lead staff calmly and effectively during busy shifts
- Experience working across dementia, mental health or palliative care settings
- Lead clinical care delivery across a designated unit
- Provide visible hands‑on leadership during shifts
- Support the Home Manager with quality assurance audits and compliance
- Supervise, mentor and support nurses and care staff on the unit
- Oversee medication management, GP rounds and clinical decision‑making
- Complete CHC checklists and support DoLS/LPS processes
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments remain accurate and up to date
