Lead Nurse (Registered Nurse) 2223 per hour 36 Hours Day Shifts

This nursing home provides residential nursing dementia mental health and palliative care for adults within a well‑established nursing home rated Good by the CQC. As the Lead Nurse you will have the day‑to‑day responsibility for a designated unit combining hands‑on clinical practice with leadership of the nursing and care team.

What Youll Need
  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Experience in a senior nurse or unit lead role within a nursing home
  • Strong clinical knowledge of long‑term and complex conditions
  • Confidence with safeguarding CQC standards and clinical audits
  • Ability to lead staff calmly and effectively during busy shifts
  • Experience working across dementia, mental health or palliative care settings
What Youll Do
  • Lead clinical care delivery across a designated unit
  • Provide visible hands‑on leadership during shifts
  • Support the Home Manager with quality assurance audits and compliance
  • Supervise, mentor and support nurses and care staff on the unit
  • Oversee medication management, GP rounds and clinical decision‑making
  • Complete CHC checklists and support DoLS/LPS processes
  • Ensure care plans and risk assessments remain accurate and up to date
