Specialist ADHD Nurse Practitioner

Lambeth CAMHS are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated highly specialist ADHD Nurse Prescriber to lead on the ADHD pathway in our community. The role will involve independent and team working in clinical and managerial capacities, with confidence in delivery of ADHD care including medication management and physical health assessments.

• Provide leadership and clinical contribution to all aspects of the ADHD pathway including screening, assessment, psycho‑education, medication management, behavioural management, care planning, risk assessment and transition to adult services.
• Manage your own caseload of children & young people (C&YP) with ADHD, including complex cases involving comorbid mental health and neuropsychiatric difficulties.
• Initiate and review treatments within your scope of practice, including independent non‑medical prescribing.
• Liaise with medical colleagues, partner agencies (schools, social care) and adult mental health professionals across settings.
• Complete risk assessments, care plans and contribute to ADHD assessments of team members by providing expert input to diagnostic decisions.
• Work autonomously within professional practice guidelines and Trust guidelines.
• Fulfil managerial and leadership responsibilities.
