Overview
A Band 5 nursing role within Royal Marsden Trust offering opportunities to work across multiple clinics in cancer care and to enhance nursing practice within an acute setting.
Responsibilities- Work in a variety of clinics including one‑stop breast clinics, nurse‑led wound care clinics and pre/post‑operative patient assessment.
- Assist with diagnostic and minor procedures in dermatology, plastics, sarcoma and breast departments.
- Plan, document, deliver and evaluate evidence‑based nursing care in coordination with shift staff.
- Develop awareness of patients’ needs and various cancer treatment modalities.
- Support shift management under the guidance of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.
- Qualified Staff Nurse with experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Flexible, collaborative team player committed to high‑quality patient care.
