Role Details
Position: Locum Practice Nurse
Location: 404 Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, HA7 1JP
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible weekdays, Monday to Friday)
Rate: £35 per hour (Ltd)
Clinical System: EMIS Web
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering a wide range of routine Practice Nurse services while providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care within a busy GP practice.
Clinical Duties- Cervical cytology (smears)
- Wound care and dressings
- Removal of sutures and clips
- Routine adult and childhood immunisations
- Administration of injections (including B12, Goserelin and Inclisiran)
- Urinalysis
- NHS Health Checks
- Travel health advice and vaccinations
- Management of long‑term conditions, including:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Hypertension (including 24‑hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring)
- Diabetes
- Phlebotomy
- ECGs
- Hold a valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Have previous experience working within a General Practice setting.
- Be confident using EMIS Web.
- Be able to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
