Location: Western Isles Hospital, Macaulay Road, Stornoway, HS1 2AF

Title: Bank Registered Nurse.

Band: Band 5 – £34,544 – £43,039 pro rata.

Allowance: £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata.

Hours: as required.

• Provision of professional nursing care to meet the individual needs of patients and be accountable for the delivery of such care.
• Assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care.
• Facilitation and support of staff development in hospital and community areas.

• Registered with the NMC.
• Experience of nursing patients in an acute and/or community environment.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Must be registered with either General Nursing or Mental Health.
• Desire to work independently is desirable but not essential.
