The Role
We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a supportive Adult Mental Health service within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused mental health care across community and inpatient settings, while developing your clinical and leadership skills within a progressive NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out comprehensive assessments of service users’ mental health and care needs
- Develop, implement, and review person‑centred care plans using evidence‑based practice
- Build therapeutic relationships and collaborative partnerships with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate mental health care
- Support and guide healthcare support workers, students, and new team members
- Contribute to risk assessment, crisis management, safeguarding, and discharge planning
- Participate in maintaining and improving clinical standards through audit and service development
- Ensure compliance with CNWL policies, confidentiality standards, and professional guidelines
- Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and a safe working environment
- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification (RMN)
- Current NMC registration
- Minimum 12 months post‑registration experience within Adult Mental Health
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of professional boundaries and recovery‑focused care
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
