Role Summary
We have 7 modern theatres in Chelsea including 3 robotic theatres. Our anaesthetic department is well-equipped and delivers care from day surgery to intensive care. We cover specialties such as Sarcoma and Melanoma, Plastics, Head and Neck and others using a wide range of anaesthetic techniques. We are looking for a motivated nurse (with a recognised anaesthetic qualification) or ODP who has a real interest in high‑quality peri‑operative care to join the team.
Responsibilities- Perform all tasks of a specialist registered nurse/ODP.
- Assist and support the anaesthetist to deliver general anaesthesia, sedation, local anaesthesia and regional blocks to theatre patients and patients in outside areas including endoscopy, CT scanner and interventional radiology, in line with national and Trust theatre policy.
- Work with the theatre team to deliver high‑quality patient care while maintaining theatre efficiency and managing resources.
- Support senior staff and multidisciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining excellent clinical standards and staff development.
- Recognised anaesthetic qualification.
- Motivated and committed to high‑quality peri‑operative care.
- Experience or willingness to perform general anaesthesia, sedation, local anaesthesia and regional blocks.
