Band 5 Staff Nurse – 37.5 Hours per week – Neonatal Team.

Staff Nurse, Grade: 5

We are a level 2 hospital within the North Central North East London Perinatal Network, providing specialist care to neonates from 27 weeks gestation. The unit follows a family‑focused philosophy, working with staff and parents in partnership to deliver the highest standards of care and support developmental care.

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of a defined group of babies under the indirect supervision of a Band 6 or 7 nurse. Will demonstrate care/procedures and supervise qualified or unqualified staff as circumstances dictate.

• Annual Leave: 27 days per annum, increasing to 29 days after 5 years NHS service and 33 days after 10 years NHS service.
