OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Manager to join a well-established Workplace Health service in Central London.
This is a permanent, full-time Occupational Health Nurse Manager position, offering hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
This senior opportunity combines clinical leadership, team management and hands‑on Occupational Health practice. You will lead an established OH nursing team, oversee the delivery of key clinical services and play an important role in maintaining high standards of clinical governance and continuous service improvement.
Duties- Lead and line manage the Occupational Health nursing team, supporting development, performance and clinical standards.
- Oversee the delivery of case management, health surveillance, health screening and immunisation programmes.
- Undertake hands‑on Occupational Health clinical work for a minimum of one day per week.
- Lead clinical audit, governance and continuous improvement in line with SEQOHS standards.
- Manage clinic capacity, staffing requirements and effective utilisation of clinical resources.
- Oversee medicines management and safe clinical processes.
- Develop and review Occupational Health clinical policies and procedures.
- Work with senior colleagues and stakeholders to develop and improve Occupational Health and wellbeing services.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Qualification leading to registration on Part 3 of the NMC Register.
- Previous senior-level experience managing a clinical or Occupational Health nursing team.
- Strong Occupational Health experience, including needs assessment and advising managers and employees on the impact of work on health and health on work.
- Experience delivering health surveillance, health screening and immunisation programmes.
- Good understanding of employment and health and safety legislation relevant to Occupational Health practice.
- Experience with clinical audit and developing effective clinical policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Up to £76,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
- 27 days’ annual leave plus 6 closure days and bank holidays.
