Rates: £45-£50 per hour (Limited Company / Sole Trader)
We are recruiting experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners or Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) to support a range of Primary Care and urgent care services across Liverpool, Warrington, Chester, Southport and the wider North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for autonomous clinicians who are confident assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations within fast-paced clinical environments. Depending on service requirements, you may work across General Practice, Out of Hours services, Telephone Triage, Same Day Access clinics, community urgent care, Urgent Treatment Centres and home visiting services.
Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and minor illness.
Deliver face-to-face and remote clinical consultations.
Prescribe safely within your scope of practice as an Independent Prescriber.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Escalate and refer complex patients appropriately.
Maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS, Adastra or other clinical systems.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective patient care.
Current NMC or HCPC registration.
Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Level 7 advanced practice qualification.
Independent Prescribing qualification (V300).
Advanced Clinical Assessment and Diagnostics qualification.
Previous experience working within Primary Care, General Practice, Out of Hours or Urgent Care services.
Ability to work autonomously in busy clinical environments.
Competent in both face-to-face and remote consultations.
Experience using EMIS and/or Adastra is desirable.
Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
Out of Hours or Urgent Care experience.
Same Day Access or clinical streaming experience.
Telephone triage experience.
Minor illness management.
Flexible weekday, evening, overnight and weekend locum sessions.
Ad hoc and ongoing rota opportunities.
Competitive rates of £45-£50 per hour (Limited Company / Sole Trader).
