We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our expanding Private Outpatient Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing, patient-focused service delivering high-quality care across a wide range of specialties.

As part of our team, you will provide excellent patient-centred care while developing a broad range of clinical skills, including patient assessment, pre‑assessments, phlebotomy, cannulation, infusion therapy and patient monitoring. You will work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams, supporting outpatient clinics and minor procedures while helping to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Working primarily Monday to Friday during daytime hours, with rotational weekend shifts as the service expands, you will use your clinical judgement, initiative and organisational skills to support the smooth running of clinics and maintain high standards of care, safety and professionalism.

Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a private outpatient setting.
• Support consultant‑led clinics, investigations and minor procedures.
• Undertake patient assessments, observations and health screening.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments in line with Trust policy.
• Perform clinical skills including phlebotomy, cannulation, wound care and specimen collection.
• Monitor patient progress, elevate concerns and prioritise care appropriately.
• Coordinate referrals, investigations, follow‑up appointments and multidisciplinary care.
• Provide patient education, health promotion and support for self‑management.
• Support specialist procedures including hysteroscopy, colposcopy, cystoscopy, MVA and Sonata.
• Act as a patient advocate and maintain safeguarding responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and electronic documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement, audit and service development.
• Support the induction, supervision and development of junior staff and students.
• Demonstrate effective time management, organisation and workload prioritisation.
• Comply with professional standards, confidentiality requirements and Trust policies.
