Children Looked After Nurse — North East London NHS Foundation Trust

This is an exciting opportunity to join the North East London NHS Foundation Trust as a Children Looked After Nurse, based at the Axe Street Child & Family Centre. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week and falls within Band 6 of the NHS pay scale, with a salary ranging from £39,959 to £48,117. As a Children Looked After Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people in care. Your work will ensure that each child’s individual needs are met, and you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide tailored care. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people, helping them thrive and achieve their full potential.

• Work closely with children and young people in care to assess and address their health needs.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams.
• Provide advice, support, and advocacy to ensure children and young people have access to appropriate services and resources.

• Qualified and experienced community nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Proven experience working with children looked after, demonstrating understanding of their specific needs.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals.
