Staff Nurse – Medical Surgical Ward The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, London Full Time: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Medical & Surgical Ward team at The Lister Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse caseload of medical and surgical patients. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care while ensuring patients receive the highest standards of clinical excellence throughout their hospital journey.

What you’ll do:- Deliver safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care programmes.
- Monitor patient progress and escalapte concerns appropriately.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and NMC standards.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with consultants, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding and clinical governance standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect and compassion.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Must have previous experience in a surgical ward.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and clinical decision-making abilities.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
