As a Senior RVN, you'll play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, mentoring colleagues, and helping to shape the future of the practice. Working alongside an experienced veterinary team, you'll enjoy a varied caseload, nurse-led clinics, and the opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive environment.
The Role- Salary up to £37,100 including London weighting
- 40 hours per week across 5 days
- Shared weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital (1 in 4 or 1 in 6 weekends
) - Flexibility to work across two nearby practices when required
- Senior nursing position with opportunities to mentor and support junior nurses
- Modern, well-equipped practice with an experienced clinical team
- Deliver exceptional patient and client care
- Run nurse-led consultations and perform Schedule 3 procedures
- Support consultations, surgeries and inpatient care
- Monitor anaesthesia and hospitalised patients
- Manage patient admissions and discharges
- Maintain high clinical and regulatory standards
- Mentor and support less experienced nursing colleagues
- Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team
We're looking for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is:
- Confident working alongside a Veterinary Surgeon, including sole charge nursing when required
- Passionate about providing outstanding patient and client care
- A supportive team player with excellent communication skills
- Previous senior or leadership experience is desirable but not essential
- Keen to develop professionally and contribute to the growth of the practice
- Salary up to £37,100
- 5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays
