Exciting Opportunity for Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (NICU) Band 6 at Portland Hospital

Medics Pro is currently recruiting skilled NICU Nurses with recent hospital experience for both full-time agency work and extra shifts at Portland Hospital. This opportunity is to cover Monday - Sunday, Long Day & Night shifts.

• Cares for newborn babies with a range of health concerns from birth until they are released from the NICU.
• Provides comfort, support, and care to infants with serious health conditions.
• Communicates and cooperates with other healthcare professionals.
• Administer, prepare & check treatments and medications prescribed by physicians.
• Educates parents and family members about infant care.
  
  Uses advanced equipment and technology.
• Managing a baby's fluids
• Recording observations and documenting a baby's care
• Initiating appropriate basic resuscitation in an emergency
