Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader,
Greenwich Neighbourhood Nursing Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader to join the Greenwich Neighbourhood Nursing Team at a time of significant service transformation.
As part of our move to neighbourhood-based working, you will play a key role in leading integrated care delivery alongside primary care, social care and community partners, ensuring patients receive high-quality care closer to home.
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 District Nurse ready to take the next step, or an existing Band 7 leader seeking a new challenge. You will support patients with frailty, long-term conditions, complex healthcare needs and end-of-life care requirements while helping shape the future of community nursing services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership to a neighbourhood nursing team.
- Support and develop staff to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and neighbourhood partners.
- Drive service improvement, workforce development and clinical governance.
- Ensure high-quality care for housebound patients and those with complex needs.
You will:
- Hold a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing or have equivalent senior community nursing experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, clinical and organisational skills.
- Be passionate about integrated neighbourhood working and improving patient outcomes.
- Have excellent communication and team development skills.
- Be committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
