Priory Hospital North London has an opportunity for a Ward Manager in Mental Health Nursing to join our team.
Priory Hospital North London, Southgate, London is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment centre providing care for conditions including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and OCD, as well as private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with Southgate Underground station nearby and local bus routes serving the surrounding area.

You will provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day running of our Private Adult Ward. You will lead and support the nursing team, ensure high standards of patient care, manage staffing and compliance, and promote a positive, safe, and compassionate environment for patients and colleagues alike.

What you'll bring to the roleEssential for the role
- An experienced Mental Health Nurse with at least two years leadership experience within a relevant mental health or care setting.
- Demonstrable experience working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse within a relevant clinical setting.
- Experience supervising nursing or care staff.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
- Trained Assessor/Supervisor (or willingness to achieve).
- Computer literate.
- Ability to provide effective clinical leadership and support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
- Willingness to undertake further clinical, leadership and management training relevant to the role and area of practice.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a clinical environment.
